About Lee Carpentier

Bio
Born: January, 1982, Long Island, N.Y.

Lee Carpentier didn't follow the traditional path of the modern racing driver. Where most start early in karting, Lee jumped into a race car for the first time at age 25. After completing his licensing requirements, Lee participated in four weekends in the Skip Barber Regional Race Series, earning multiple pole positions, podiums and his first win. After two seasons in the BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National Presented by Mazda, Lee entered the inaugural season of Skip Barber's MAZDASPEED Challenge series, taking the championship and the season-ending MAZDASPEED Club Racer Shoot-out.

After several seasons of coaching and a limited schedule in the Rolex Sports Car Series, Continential Sports Car Challenge and Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Cup, Lee will compete in the IMSA Continental Sports Car Challenge, sharing a Mitchum Motorsports BMW 128i with Dane Moxlow for the 2014 season, his first full season since 2009.
